Taiwan Filmmaking Mixer

Last week, a guy working in the film industry in Taiwan saw our videos and really liked them. He has done many film projects and his latest project was for a video for National Geographic. After seeing our videos, he contacted us and invited us to go to a filmmaking mixer to network and meet new people. Todd wasn't able to go, so I went by myself.

We met at the Yang San Lang Art Museum 揚三郎美術館. I met many different people there, producers, directors, sound technicians, writers etc. There was a lady there that is a journalist, and spent one year in Palestine filming a documentary. While she was there she actually got kidnapped.
We spent the evening introducing ourselves, and telling everyone our backgrounds and what we do when it comes to film. This meeting was put together because there are so many film makers in Taipei, but they never get together to talk and work with each other. They said they wanted to keep having these meetings so everyone can keep in contact and help out if needed.

I'm really glad we have been noticed by these professionals, and hopefully through this networking we will be able to move on to bigger and better projects in the future.
